NPRC’s Wastewater Program
NPRC’s Wastewater Program prepares new operators and supports those already working in the field. Wastewater professionals play a critical role in keeping our water safe. They manage systems that treat water from wells, rivers, and reservoirs, ensuring it’s clean and safe for drinking and everyday use.
This program covers everything from basic math and chemistry to advanced topics like filtration, chlorination, and proper handling and disposal techniques. Students gain practical skills that help them serve their communities for years to come.
Program Details:
- Who Can Enroll:
- Beginners: Must complete all modules, starting with Level I before advancing to Level II.
- Current Operators: Can take individual modules for continuing education credit.
- Cost:
- Continuing education modules are $180 each.
- Format:
- Remote Synchronous instruction.
- Schedule:
- Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
